Kamrul Hasan FCA is a Fellow member of Bangladesh’s Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAB). On August 31, 2000, he completed his CA Course (CACC) at Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co. (HVC), a prominent CA firm that was then affiliated with “Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu,” the world’s number one CA firm. He has qualified CA at May -2005 session. He has also completed “Certified Management Accountant- CMA” degree under CMA (Australia).
He has worked in many country-renowned companies for over 21 years in mid-level and top-level positions, including 17 years as a licensed accountant. He has extensive expertise and experience in a variety of corporate fields, including the garment and manufacturing industries. With maximum dedication and sincerity, he served as CFO at KDS Garment Division under KDS Group, a recognized Business Conglomerate Group, for approximately 16 years. At KDS, he was in charge of the Finance, Accounts, and Commercial Departments of eight different companies. Prior to joining KDS, he worked for around 6 years in the pharmaceutical and cement industries. Mr. Kamrul is experienced with all stages of the development cycle for dynamic field of Accounting, Auditing, valuation, financial analysis, risk management, Project financing, budgetary control, TAX , VAT and RJSC related works.
Mr. Kamrul has vast experience and knowledge in the non-profit sector. He conducted a detailed audit on NGO Pre-qualification capacity assessment for disaster response linked to financial capacity and management/organizational ability on country renewing 26 NGOs, including BRAC, OXFAM GB Bangladesh, Care Bangladesh, Concern Bangladesh, and others conducted by The United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
He has taken part on various trainings, seminar, workshops on Finance, Accounts, Corporate Management, leadership etc. in nationally & internationally including international trainings like; (1) Corporate Management , 2013 in Japan. (2) “Leadership Training-Strengthening Relationships” in 2015, Sri Lanka (3) Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad-IIMA, India, 2019.
He has participated in a variety of trainings, seminars, and workshops on finance, accounting, corporate management, leadership, and other topics both nationally and internationally, including overseas trainings such as (1) Corporate Management in Japan in 2013. (2) In 2015, Sri Lanka hosted a “Leadership Training-Strengthening Relationships” event. (3) Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad-IIMA, India, Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing, 2019.
